I think it's most amazing that a writer from years and years ago seemed to have such a great understanding of humour.
I relate very well to the writings of Mr. Wilde, mainly because everything he takes seriously, he makes light of at the same time.
Which I think is the best way to write about "serious matters" and what not.
So consider this, particular world.
Why make a big deal of things you hold dear to?
Why make everything serious?
Why consider the outcome of something that could be "bad" when you can change it?
Life is so much more important than control.
Enjoy yourself.
Make light of things.
I'm not saying that you shouldn't take them seriously.
But don't give them a foothold.
Be bold and shameless.
And like the fantastical Mr. Wilde, understand that most of life is not what it seems, but that's a very humorous aspect of it all.
So enjoy all that.
I'm going to finish my research paper on Oscar Wilde.
"He's got a secret, a secret, secret!"
Kudos...
...Dave.
